Frequently Asked Questions

About Recruitment

What kind of person are you looking for?

First, I want to carefully complete the tasks in front of me and become a trustworthy person.
We are looking for someone who can absorb various things and use them to their advantage.
We are also looking for people who embody our company motto: "Bright, cheerful, and energetic."

Please tell me about the key points you emphasize in the selection process.

We will make a comprehensive judgment based on the results of aptitude tests and interviews.
The selection process prioritizes personality over academic background or programming knowledge.
We value whether you can think and act independently, whether you have a positive attitude to overcome difficult challenges, and whether you have a cooperative attitude with those around you to work towards a common goal, rather than a self-centered approach.

What kind of selection process is used to make hiring decisions?

The selection process is as follows.
1. Viewing of company presentation video
2. Aptitude test
3. Interview
4. Job offers

I have a humanities background. Is the SE (Systems Engineer) role more suitable for people with a science background?

At our company, we do not discriminate based on "undergraduate degree, graduate degree, or vocational school degree" or "humanities or science background." We believe that what you have learned so far will be utilized in various ways, regardless of your academic background.
Some people believe that this industry is primarily composed of people with science and engineering backgrounds. However, the difference between humanities and science majors, or whether or not you have programming experience from your student days, is not that important. If you are someone who is curious and can approach things positively, you can develop your skills while working.

What programming languages do you use for program development?

Please tell me about the training provided after joining the company.

Most of the engineers currently working at our company started with no prior experience, but please rest assured that we provide training from the basics.
Our company has a new employee training system certified by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (approved on Heisei 20 3 27).We incorporate this knowledge and provide practical education through our "Ignition Program." The training consists of approximately 4 months of external group training (OFF-JT) and approximately 2 months of OJT (on-the-job training), and we teach everything from the basics of computers to the ability to create simple programs, so even those with no experience can participate.
Even after being assigned to a development team, you will receive support from senior engineers, so there is no need to worry. Everything will be fine if you approach your work with a proactive attitude towards learning.

Please tell me about hiring women.

Gender is irrelevant in recruitment, so women are also welcome.
System development work is one of the jobs where women can easily demonstrate their abilities, and many women are active as SEs and programmers at our company.

I'd like to know about the workplace atmosphere...

System development work often involves working in teams, but there are many areas where individual ingenuity can be utilized, so you can work in a relatively free atmosphere.

Will the actual work involve dispatching or secondment?

In principle, there is no dispatch or secondment. However, the actual work location is often at a location designated by the client (for example, a bank's administrative center) due to security and infrastructure reasons. In that case, you will not be working alone, but typically with multiple members (a team) consisting of IM employees and employees from partner companies.

How will the assignment to a development team be determined?

Expenditure details related to the profit margin:
Please note that due to project timelines, it may not always be possible to get the desired work at the right time, but we will consider your requests regarding the field you want to work in if you communicate them to your supervisor.

I want to live a life where I can always be excited, challenging myself in various kinds of "manufacturing," not just programming.

The average total overtime hours at our company is approximately 12.8 hours per month. There are periods with more or less overtime, and it varies depending on the project.
We organize teams considering the nature of the project and the characteristics and growth of each individual, so that work can proceed smoothly as a team. We want you to gain a wide range of knowledge and technical skills by experiencing various tasks.

After receiving a job offer/after joining the company

Are there any things I should study or qualifications I should obtain before joining the company?

We want students to fully dedicate themselves to their studies, which is their primary responsibility, while also challenging themselves with things they can only do now, leading to a fulfilling student life. Through such experiences, we hope you will cultivate understanding, creativity, and a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work. You will receive thorough training in programming after joining the company, so there's no need to worry. However, reading books on computer-related topics that interest you would be beneficial.
After receiving a job offer, we will contact you periodically with updates on the company situation. We are planning opportunities for job offer recipients to meet each other, as well as dinners with employees and invitations to company trips.

Are there systems such as childcare leave?

Also, the open communication culture where employee voices are properly heard is also attractive.

Our company has a "childcare and nursing care leave system," allowing employees to return to work after childcare or nursing care leave. This system allows employees of all genders to take leave for childcare or nursing care.
Currently, 2 male employees are on childcare leave (as of 2025/8/1)

What kind of employee benefits are available?
Furthermore, to improve the morale and motivation of the company and its employees, all employees are promoting a "Value-up activity." Specifically, we publish an in-house newsletter, hold regular study sessions, and conduct group discussions.

In addition to insurance systems such as health insurance, employee pension insurance, employment insurance, and workers' compensation insurance, we have a retirement allowance system and a savings plan system. Other benefits include full commuting allowance and qualification allowances.

Please tell me about the allowances for obtaining qualifications.

If you pass a qualification encouraged by the company, we will provide an incentive payment upon acquisition. The eligible qualifications include not only technical qualifications such as information processing engineers, but also a wide range of qualifications such as TOEIC and commercial bookkeeping.
